solarinstalldata.com

Welcome

SolarInstallData.com provides key data describing solar photovoltaic installations. This information is useful for:

  • Solar industry analysts who want to understand where PV is being installed, how much it costs, and trends in the technologies being used;
  • Agencies who manage or design solar incentive programs, to understand trends in pricing and comparing various regional statistics;
  • Job seekers wanting to research potential employers.

In "Resources" we provide the links to the raw data from which SolarInstallData summaries are produced. And look for the TOP U.S. PV INSTALLERS chart on this page too.

See DSIREUSA.org for a comprehensive database of solar policies and incentives. This is the best database for tracking all policies, incentives, and regulatory structure for solar in the U.S.

California solar installation data:
California solar installation data is collected and made public through CaliforniaSolarStatistics.ca.gov, the California Energy Commission, and the Investor Owned Utilities (IOUs) under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. Thus far, the municipal or publicly owned utilities (POUs) do not usually make the detailed data available, but it is expected they will start following the practice soon.

New Jersey solar installation data:

The New Jersey Citizen Onsite Renewable Energy (CORE) is administered through the New Jersey Clean Energy Program.
