About Us

SolarInstallData.com is run by Liz Merry of Verve Solar Consulting. The site was designed and is maintained by Marco Conti, of ContiCreative.

The site provides key data describing solar photovoltaic installations, along with solar industry resources.

This information is useful for:

  • Solar industry analysts who want to understand where PV is being installed, how much it costs, and trends in the technologies being used;
  • Agencies who manage or design solar incentive programs, to understand trends in pricing and comparing various regional statistics;
  • Job seekers wanting to research potential employers.

About the Fee-based Files
No more fee based files. The creation of CaliforniaSolarStatistics.ca.gov and fast moving industry standards makes a fee-based dataset redundant. This is real progress for the industry. This site will continue to compile good links and resources for solar installation data, including maps and installatiion records.

Is special software required to use the file?
Yes, MS Excel 2003 or later is needed to successfully execute the pivot table features.

How do I get the most recently published incentive data?
Visit CaliforniaSolarStatistics.ca.gov

Why are you making so much of the information available for free?
The solar marketplace benefits greatly from knowing how much solar is being installed, where, and at what price. We hope this information is useful to solar businesses, policy makers, and incentive program managers.
